Rowe Casa Organics is one of the favorite brands around here! They are non-toxic and include products like sunscreen, bug spray, shampoo, conditioner, dry shampoo, essential oils, cleaning and laundry products, baby products, postpartum support, and even doggy products! Check them out and use code: TARAALLEN to get 20% off your first order.

My #1 brand for skincare and makeup has been Crunchi for YEARS now. Their products are high performing, non-toxic, and smell subtle but amazing! I’m sensitive to smells, so this is an important one for me.

Use code Allen10 to get 10% off your entire order! Risewell toothpaste and floss uses hydroxyapatite instead of fluoride, which is much more in-line with the natural makeup of our teeth and without the harmful neurotoxin effects of fluoride.

I don’t miss a day of tongue scraping EVER and have been doing it for 15 years or so already. Some people like to tongue scrape at night, but I prefer doing it once a day in the morning. I floss, tongue scrape, and then brush.

Occasionally (like, very occasionally … only when I think of it) I’ll add some activated charcoal to my toothpaste and brush with it. This can help remove surface stains and naturally whiten teeth.

This is one of our most frequently used toothpastes. Hydroxyapatite toothpaste remineralizes teeth and has been found to be at least as effective as fluoride but without the neurotoxins.

Just ordered these after our son told me my “11” lines look like one crooked domino that’s about to knock down the straight domino. So, we shall see! Between these and the mouth tape, I’ll have lots of attractive points when I sleep.

The way these work is by reducing the amount of tension we hold in certain expressions in our face. If we tend to scrunch our forehead or squint our eyes as we grind our teeth at night, these “muscle tapes” help to prevent that while they are on.

Dry brushing can help the sweat response and detoxification as well as lymphatic drainage and skin exfoliation. I take 2 minutes to use it as many days a week as I remember — long strokes towards my heart on dry skin, in particular before a sauna session.

I recently started experimenting with facial cupping for the circulation and lymphatic drainage benefits. I use on oiled skin (like sesame or olive oil) and make sure not to apply too much suction or keep it still at all to avoid bruising.

Using a natural deodorant without any false fragrances, aluminum, or skin irritating baking soda is a non-negotiable for me. No anti-perspirant (we are MEANT to sweat!), but this helps keep things fresh. I love the grapefruit lemon scent, but they make many others. It’s not the garbage we grew up with, so I like to keep in mind it might not always be as convenient. This is a deodorant cream. You can apply with the mini popsicle stick they supply or just use your finger and wash your hands afterwards like I do.
